2015 Cadillac ATS Debuts New Look
Rumors are swirling on the internet regarding the debut of the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe and the rumored absence of its iconic wreath ornamental hood decoration. Insider photographer Chris Doane has been revving Cadillac enthusiasts up with information about the new ATS Coupes debut and plenty of consumers are interested to see if he is right.
Doane says he has seen the new Cadillac, and he believes the ATS Coupe will roll out without its traditional wreath logo when it debuts next week. This change would confirm reports that Cadillac is or has already redesigned their emblem. With their current emblem being described as “outdated and obsolete” by Automotive News last year Cadillac could be looking to switch things up. Seeing as Cadillac has some of the most technologically advanced vehicles on the market it would be only fitting that their emblem matches their fleet.
The new ATS Coupe is expected to be on the conservative side and will most likely share a lot of the styling and characteristics of the ATS sedan. The engine lineup is expected to carry over from the sedan, but there is a possibility an ATS-V Coupe could feature a recently established V6 3.2-liter twin-turbo developing more than 500 bhp. Cadillac is no stranger to powerful vehicles and this engine could give a Coupe some definite muscle.
The official reveal of the 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe was at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
