Blast From the Past: 1962 Cadillac Convertible

Tucker Madey recently shared his story about his 1962 Cadillac Convertible with The San Francisco Chronicle.

Growing up, Madey was always a fan of cars from the General Motors family. In 2009, owning a Cadillac became reality. He traded in the cargo van he no longer needed and got a loan. Armed with the money, he traveled to San Jose to pick up this white-on-red 1962 Cadillac Convertible.

Madey shared that this Cadillac can still keep up with the newer models on the road, despite its age. For Madey, this is his special occasion car. With the vehicle getting only 9 mpg in the city and 13 mpg on the freeway, the best drive is with the top down to the bay.
