Buick Regal Delivers Power with Fuel Efficiency
Buick announced their new 2014 Regal Sedan will be sold in dealerships with the sedan’s most powerful engine yet to date. The upgraded standard turbocharged engine delivers more power and returns better fuel economy, a win-win for consumers.
The new turbocharged power source, a Verano sourced 2.0 Liter, turbo four cylinder is packing 259 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque which give the new Regal a full 18 percent more power, and 13 percent more torque than the previous model. Buick has been quick to boast the Regal as the best over other brands like Acura TSX, Lexus IS 250, Audi A4, Mercedes CLA 250, Volvo S60, and the Volkswagen CC when it comes to power.
The new Regal sedan comes with a six speed automatic transmission, and improves fuel economy by 17 percent. With all the power that comes with a turbocharged engine it’s refreshing the Regal will return an EPA-estimated 21 mpg city and 30 mpg highway. This is 3 percent higher than last year’s Regal.
In addition to the new 2014 Buick Regal’s power and fuel efficiency, it also hosts a multitude of features like a refreshed interior and exterior styling, advanced all-wheel-drive system with electronic limited-slip differential, next generation Intellilink including an eight inch color touch display, and HiPer strut suspension.
