Cadillac to Unveil 2014 ELR

USA Today is reporting that the 2015 Cadillac ELR will be introduced to the world on January 15th at the North American International Auto Show.

Earlier this year, GM North America President Mark Reuss hinted this all-electric coupe would be introduced at the Detroit show.

The ELR is going to be based on the same powertrain technology as the Chevy Volt. It is derived from the Cadillac Converj concept, first seen at the same show in 2009.

The 2014 ELR will be built at the Detroit-Hamtramck assembly plant. The vehicle will be a two-door, four-seat model that will run primarily on electricity.

The Arnie Bauer team is looking forward to seeing the ELR. Are you?
