GMC Offers New Trailering App
GMC is giving their customers an easier way to access information when it comes to trailers and hauling. A new free app released this week in the iTunes store is designed to give GMC owners a better understanding of their vehicle’s “trailering” abilities. The app even helps customers pinpoint the proper GMC model for their specific hauling needs.
The new app gives customers information straight from GMC’s website as well as maximum trailer capacity ratings by model. Customers can search by choosing a specific GMC model or by listing their trailering needs to see which GMC model is the best fit. “Our customers believe in the right tool for the job, and this app helps them get the most out of their GMC trailering capability in a convenient and accessible way, whether they’re hauling a utility trailer across town or a fifth-wheel cross country,” said GMC’s vice president of marketing Tony Disalle.
One of the best features consumers will be able to take advantage of is the dedicated learning center which both first timers and trailering veterans can take advantage of information provided. Other features included in the app are Trailering 101, hitches and equipment, pre-trailering checklist, safe trailering techniques, how GMC trailering technologies work, and power and performance information.
“Even for customers who’ve been trailering for years, our continuing enhancements in features, power and technology make the GMC Trailering Guide App a handy resource,” said High Milne, GMC Training and Accessory manager. The new trailering app will be a huge benefit to GMC owners and potential buyers alike.
