The New Buick Regal has More Control Than Ever
While we may love Chicago’s winter wonderland in December and maybe a few days in early January, but by this time of year most of us are over it. Unfortunately for us here at Arnie Bauer, we still have to drive in it everyday, but that driving just got a whole lot easier this year. As we mentioned in our last post, Buick’s introduction of its new All-Wheel Drive system assists drivers in traversing the ice and snow and even helps in those off-roading endeavors. This AWD system has been installed in one of our great new models, the Buick Regal, and while it would be extremely rare for the owner of a Regal to take their luxury automobile on an off-roading adventure, it’s still good to know you have the option.
Buick’s Encore compact SUV performs well through deep snow with stability control kicking in at just the right moment to prevent sliding, all with the help of a computer which is capable of making instantaneous judgements of road conditions. By determining the control of each wheel, the computer can distribute power to where it is needed most, not only from front to rear but left to right. The system is capable of sending up to 90 percent of the power to the rear axle if necessary.
While control, stability, and power are all things Buick owners expect from their cars, they also appreciate the look, luxury, and comfort. That’s why in addition to the brainy AWD system, the Regal also provides heated seats and steering wheel, as well as an OnStar Link to allow drivers to start their Regals remotely.
If your curiosity has been piqued and you’d like to check out one of these fine Buick models featuring the new All-Wheel Drive system, be sure to come visit us at Arnie Bauer. We are located at 5525 Circle Drive in Matteson, IL.
