New Buick Regal Debuts New Price
The all-new 2014 Buick Regal has been refreshed and is ready to compete in the entry-level luxury class. The redesigned vehicle has many new features and upgrades making is a contender in the luxury segment.
From revised front and rear fascia’s to a new eight-inch touchscreen the Regal has undergone a transformation. With its reworked interior and an updated turbocharged engine this vehicle is not only luxurious, but also powerful. The 2014 Buick Regal Turbo and GS models features an updated 2.0 Liter turbocharged engine producing 259 hp, an increase from 220 horse power in last year’s Turbo model. All Turbo models are outfitted with a six speed automatic transmission, although a six speed manual is available for free on the front-wheel drive GS models.
The Regal Turbo and GS model receives EPA ratings of 21 mpg city, 30 hwy. The eassist is still present in the new models utilizing a 2.4 liter four cylinder engine with a small electric motor for increase fuel economy. Drivers will benefit from 25 mpg city, and 36 hwy. In addition to great gas mileage all 2014 Regals benefit from the standard feature of Buick’s Intellilink infotainment system, heated leather seats, backup camera, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Upgrade to the Regal GS and add HID headlights, sport seats, navigation, a Bose audio system, and a special Sport and GS driving modes.
The Buick Regal Turbo is slated to be available for sale late this year and will have a starting price of $30,615. The mild hybrid Regal with e-assist will start at $32,485, and the performance oriented Regal GS starting at $37,830.
