New Survey Reveals Most Drivers Prefer to Service Their Cars at Dealerships
How do you pamper your precious Cadillac, Buick or GMC? Do you bring it to your favorite Matteson Cadillac dealership for a tune-up or do you prefer to drop it off at a local independent mechanic? According to a new survey, an overwhelming amount of drivers feel most at home at their local dealership’s service center.
A study commissioned by the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) found that 67% of consumers think franchised dealers are the safest place to service their vehicles. The respondents said that dependability and reliability were the primary factors that contributed to their decision. Only 22% of the drivers surveyed said that they felt independent repairers are the safest, and a scant 11% said they believed national chains were the safest option. Respondents also reported that they felt more comfortable knowing that the dealership is directly linked to a manufacturer.
Of course, Cadillac dealers weren’t surprised to hear the results of the survey. It’s well-known in the automotive industry that Cadillac dealers often rank at, or near the top of, nationwide consumer satisfaction surveys thanks to the automaker’s dedication to its Premium Care Maintenance program.
The Cadillac Premium Care Maintenance program gives drivers complete peace of mind by offering fully-covered required maintenance services during the first four years (or 50,000 miles) of every new Cadillac vehicle’s life. Maintenance services include oil changes, a tire rotation every 7,500 miles, Engine Air Cleaner filter replacement, passenger compartment air filter replacement and Multi-Point Vehicle Inspections (MPVI). To find out what other services are available for your vehicle, contact a local Cadillac dealer near you.
While Cadillac’s dedication to its loyal customers isn’t anything new, the brand has recently been putting forth, even more effort to place customers “at the center of the brand experience.” The automaker has announced plans to upgrade its showrooms, strengthen its network development and re-conceptualize dealership facilities to ensure customers have the best experience possible.
“The stronger our dealers are, the better our service quality will be,” Cadillac president Johan de Nysschen said in a recent interview. “Cadillac is on a journey back to the pinnacle of premium brands, and dealers will contribute every step of the way.”
Cadillac’s committed investment into its local dealerships will offer significant returns to customers, especially those who visit dealership service centers. Arnie Bauer, for example, continues to maintain a renowned state-of-the-art service facility staffed with exceptionally knowledgeable and qualified staff.
